Early Reassurance Scan

Bonding Before Birth Reassurance Scan provides early pregnancy assurance to Moms from as early as 10 weeks gestation (based on your LMP). Each scan comes with a medical report. Our expertly trained sonographers and clinic team are dedicated to offering the best possible reassurance from 10 weeks onward.

• If you feel you would benefit from more frequent scans, please speak with your local clinic. However, a minimum interval of 2 weeks between scans is recommended.
• The primary purpose of this scan is to offer reassurance around your NHS antenatal care appointments and confirm health.
• The scans typically last about 10-15 minutes, and you will receive a 2D scan picture to take home and keep.
• All early scans are performed by a Medically qualified diagnostic sonographer.
• Since this package is offered from 10 weeks, it is recommended that the scan be conducted transabdominal, with consent.
• If you are unsure of your LMP or have irregular cycles, you will be asked to confirm the date of your first positive pregnancy test. We will then schedule your appointment for two weeks after this date to ensure the accuracy of the dates.
• This scan is available to women over 18 years of age, or to those aged 16 and 17 who are accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Please note, a positive pregnancy test result is required to book a scan with Bonding Before Birth.
